The 510 line from Thammasat University Rangsit to Victory Monument is very passenger-unfriendly. Firstly, bus route changes between daytime and night. I always find it troubling as I am not sure whether the bus stops inside the campus (the stop near NSTDA and the stop in AIT). Internet, BMTA website gave me zero useful information. Not only does the route change arbitrarily, some 510 buses INTENTIONALLY skip certain bus stops. After confirmation with bus staff at the same stop, I was reassured that 510 enters Thammasat University in daytime (about 9am). But after 1 hour of wait NO SINGLE 510 comes (compared to 3 line 29 buses arriving the bus stop). ViaBus app tracking showed that 510 line which entered the campus by Chiang Rak gate DID NOT drive and stop in its designated route and stops, directly skipping NSTDA bus stop. It is very disappointing to see drivers fail to follow the bus route and trouble passengers. Another issue is LATE. 510 line arrives very untimely. Waiting time outside rush hour can range from 20 min to 1 hr, which is definitely unreasonable. Up till now no timetable can be found for this line. I truly hope that bus drivers that either arrive bus stop late outside traffic reason, or who do not strictly follow original route, are punished. I also hope that schedule for route change in all bus lines can be clearly stated, at least in website (better if also explained in every bus stop). Lastly, please realise that every complaint submitted is not the result of single-time disappointment. I personally have tolerated the unsatisfactory service for countless times before I decide to complain. I wish swift actions could be made to solve this issue, so as to save the reputation of transportation in Thailand.
